TEAM

Chris Mathia is the founder of 2409 Advisors and a healthcare executive with experience building and scaling early-stage medical device companies.

Most recently, he served as CEO of TheraB Medical Products, where he led the company’s commercial and operational launch strategy, fundraising efforts, manufacturing transfer, and FDA submission activities. During his tenure, the company received 510(k) clearance for SnugLit, a portable phototherapy device for treating neonatal jaundice, and was acquired by Natus Sensory in February 2026.

Prior to TheraB, Chris was CEO of Innara Health, where he led a company reorganization, secured funding, and directed commercialization and product development efforts, including the redesign and 510(k)-cleared launch of NTrainer® 2.0. The company was acquired by Cardinal Health in early 2023.

Earlier in his career, Chris held leadership roles at Cerner Corporation, Hyland Software, Thomson Reuters, B. Braun, and Medline Industries.

His focus is on pediatric healthcare innovation, with an emphasis on regulatory, commercialization, and go-to-market strategy for early-stage medical device and life science companies. He is an alumnus of the MedTech Innovator 2020 Pediatric Cohort and was awarded a $50,000 non-dilutive grant from MedTech Innovator, the FDA ,and Children’s National’s “Make Your Pitch for Kids” competition.
